FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to versions of producing powders of bimetallic nanosized systems of iron group metals in combination with platinum group metals, which can be used in creating materials for storing and recording ultrahigh density information, precursors for forming particles based thereon, used in medicine (targeted delivery of dosage forms, hyperthermia of neoplasms), catalysis. Method involves mixing an aqueous solution of iron (II) sulphate, an aqueous solution of hydrogen hexachloroplatinate (IV) and distilled water, heating the obtained mixture to 95 °C. 3 g of dry sodium hydroxide is added to the obtained solution with continuous stirring. After complete dissolution of sodium hydroxide, 40 ml of hydrazine hydrate is added and further mixing is carried out for 3 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining a solid iron-platinum solution in the form of a nanosized powder which does not contain metal oxides.
