FIELD: chemistry; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing permanent joint between part from anisotropic pyrolytic graphite and part from molybdenum in production of cathode-mesh assembly of vacuum tube. At least one through hole in the form of a truncated cone is made in the part made from anisotropic pyrolytic graphite. Part made from anisotropic pyrolytic graphite is mechanically fixed on the part from molybdenum so that the vertex of the through hole made in the part made from anisotropic pyrolytic graphite in the form of a truncated cone is directed towards the part from molybdenum. Piece of nickel wire is placed in each hole of part from anisotropic pyrolytic graphite and the said wire is fused by laser ablation to fill the bore, with the formation of a connecting part rivet after cooling.
EFFECT: providing a strong, unbreakable joint between materials that cannot be soldered together using traditional soldering methods.
