FIELD: radio engineering measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: signal is applied at fixed frequency of measurement of noise temperature to input of the two-port to be measured. Noise signal is applied to input of the two-port to be measured from standard source with noise temperature T1. Signal from output of the two-port is applied to input of measuring duct and power level of the signal is fixed at output of the duct. Then noise signal is applied to input of the two-port to be measured from standard source with noise temperature T2, and signal from output of the two-port is applied to input of measuring duct. Attenuation α is introduced at output of the two-port to be measured if necessary till reduction in signal power level at output of two-port measured within measurement range and power level of the signal is fixed at output of measuring duct. Noise temperature is measured according to the relation given in the description of the invention. EFFECT: widened area of application.
