DEVICE FOR SELECTING ISOLATED OBJECTS IN TV IMAGE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: TV engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has transmitting TV camera 1, quantizers 2 and 6, delay unit 3, frame and line recirculators 4 and 5, logic multiplication unit 7, shift registers unit 8, selecting channels 10 and 11. Each channel has 12-element aperture unit 12, shift registers units 13 and 16, logic multiplication unit 14 and logic addition unit 15. Image of the object is converter by camera 1 element-by-element into electric signal which after being quantized in two levels enters channel 10 through delay unit 3 and to channel 11 through recirculators 4 and 5 connected in series and quantizer 6. Signals of the second layer of two zones enter simultaneously by two parallel groups from outputs of channels 10 and 11 to inputs of unit 7 where matched layer of selected isolated object is formed. Signals of selected isolated object enter output of the device from output of unit 7 through unit 7 which provides synchronization of output signals. EFFECT: improved noise immunity. 3 dwg
