FIELD: applied television. SUBSTANCE: direct and reversed images of point object are projected onto the target of TV photoconverter. Produced potential relief is read out by electron beam by recording it for lines and frames. Videosignal is achieved which has signals presenting pulses-marks, these pulses correspond to projections of direct and inverted images of point object. Time position of the signals is determined which corresponds to projections of direct and reversed images of point object. Then start point of recording of potential relief is shifted and time positions of the signals are measured which correspond to projections of direct and reversed images of point object. Coordinates of point object are determined from the formulae. Device for measuring coordinates has two optic switches 4 and 9, semi-transparent mirror 3, optic adder 5, two flat mirrors 7 and 10, reversing unit 8 and control unit 12.
