FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: digital phase inverter provided with two switched four-terminal networks has two states in one of which input signal reaches output through strip conductor 1, slit 2, and strip conductor 3; in this case, n-i-n diodes 4 and 6 are conductive and p-i-n diodes 5 and 7 are cut off. In other state input signal goes to output through strip conductor 8, slit 9, and strip conductor 10; in this case; p-i-n diodes 5 and 7 are conductive and p-i-n diodes 4 and 6 are cut off. In these states, phases are inverted and leads of strip conductors 3 and 1 shorted out for alternating current are located on one side of slit 2 and those of strip conductors 8 and 10 shorted out for alternating current are placed on either side of slit 9. Similar configuration of switched four-terminal networks provides for frequency independence of 180 deg. phase shift throughout entire frequency band of strip-to-slit adapters. EFFECT: reduced dependence on frequency. 1 dwg
