Abstract SU 1590017 A1

FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: accelerator includes acceleration system with cathode 1 and anode 2. Plasma generator is placed in cavity of anode 2 and has cathode 3, ignitor electrode 4, current carrying rod 5 and ring gaseous-discharge chamber 6 which wall facing rod 5 has ring hole. Multistart current carrying system is formed by elements 7 fabricated in the form of Archimedean spiral. Magnetic system 8 is put on butt of chamber 6. Ceramic tube 9 embraces rod 5 and carries cathode 3. Ignitor electrode 4 has form of ring and is installed in cavity of chamber 6. Cylindrical cathode 3 is made in the form of insulated segments. Accelerator ensures increased productivity due to prolonged life, improved quality of articles subjected to technological radiation.
