FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: torque is transmitted from spindle 4 to shank 1 of working roll 8 by means of coupling part 2 and joint part 3. Segmental inserts 5 are positioned in the coupling part. Segmental inserts have shoulders 10 and 11 moving into correspondent grooves made in the cover 7 and separating partition 6. Cover 7 is conjugated with cylindrical surface of working roll shank with clearance fit. External surfaces of shoulders positioned in the cover 7 are eccentric to the surfaces of recesses for inserts in the coupling part, internal ones being eccentric to the surface of hole for roll shank. This allows centering of the parts of the joint to be improved. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the joint. 3 dwg
