FIELD: information displays. SUBSTANCE: operation of application of conductive layer on glass backing which functions later as anode is considered one of the key operations determining quality of manufactured vacuum luminescent indicators. Use of proposed process of manufacture of vacuum luminescent indicators enhances their quality thanks to increased stability and brightness of their glow. Given properties are achieved with formation of conductive layer from aluminium 0.5-1.5 μm thick from plasma of vacuum-arc discharge on glass backings. In this case use of materials is reduced simultaneously as mentioned spraying operation excludes process of deposition of vanadium underlayer which provides for adhesion of conductive layer in process used previously. EFFECT: improved efficiency of process, reduced usage of materials. 4 dwg
