FIELD: technological process for manufacturing graphite-containing blanks. SUBSTANCE: the method comprises treating the blank surfaces to be joined with an alcoholic phenolformaldehyde binder solution, holding them at the polymerization temperature of the binder, applying a Cu_xSi_y intermetallic powder in an amount of 0.1-0.2 kg/cm² of a binder solution/carbonaceous material mixture, treating them with an alcoholic binder solution/carbonaceous material mixture, compressing them at an effort of 0.1-0.2 780-810 kg/cm² and heating them.
