Abstract SU 1795617 A1

FIELD: provision of safety on transport. SUBSTANCE: device has gas cylinder 1 charged with compressed gas, gas generator with combustible gas-generating material 12, electric igniter operated by signal from emergency situation sensor and gas outlet valve 3 which separates space of gas cylinder 1 from space of safety pad. Space of gas cylinder 1 has two communicating parts В and Г with gas outlet valve 3 installed in each part. Gas outlet valve 3 is made in form of diaphragm 4 supported by cup 5 with axial travel lock 6. Gas generator with combustible gas-generating material and electric igniter are combined into common unit arranged in each cup 5 and sealed with possibility to release cup when gas-generating material 12 is burning in cup. Available is design version of device in which safety valve 15 is installed in housing of gas cylinder 1, and design version in which safety valve is made in form of fusible member 16. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety, enlarged possibility of arrangement owing to decrease in overall dimensions of device. 3 cl, 1 dwg
