FIELD: gas laser manufacturing. SUBSTANCE: discharge unit is produced from units among which there are two electrodes, which are made from material based on aluminum. Discharge unit is mounted inside cylindrical housing, which is made from aluminum alloy and spaced from discharge unit. They are fixed by plastic deformation of housing and electrodes, which cross-section is shaped as circle segmented. This is achieved by transversal rolling by three rolls during one pass with additional rotation of housing. After this housing is processed by lath in order to achieve cylindrical surface. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 7 dwg
