FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: slow-wave structure is intended for type O superhigh frequency devices. Metal rod is introduced into each cavity square to system axis. One end of rod is secured on waveguide wall. Wavegyide has hole on other end coaxial with system axis and located in longitudinal plane of symmetry of slow-wave structure. Positive effect is proved by computer calculations and experimentally. EFFECT: increased coupling impedance, extended passband, decreased overal dimensions of cavity slow-wave structure.
