FIELD: heavy-power traveling-wave tubes. SUBSTANCE: proposed for traveling- wave tube with amplification band of at least 20% are slow-wave structures in the form of chain of coupled resonators which are, essentially, waveguides periodically partitioned by similar diaphragms having coupling slots and one or more channels for passing electrons. Each pair of adjacent diaphragms is identically positioned in cycle and turned relative to other pair through 180 deg. about waveguide axis. EFFECT: improved coupling impedance. 5 dwg
