METHOD OF ESTABLISHMENT OF LOCATION OF POINT RADIATION SOURCES Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract SU 1817569 A1

FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: radiation of point sources is passed through pair: slot mask-detector composed of sensitive elements. Slots in mask are arranged in accordance with law of pseudorandom binary sequences of "0" and "1" which form array A and slots in this sequence are placed in positions of "1". From sensitive elements of detector signals-electric analogs are picked off and converted into digital form to present them in the form of array of numbers P. After this information on sources in the form of numbers F is obtained in compliance with known relation which includes restoring array of binary numbers G from "1" in addition to specified arrays. Registration is performed with the use of system of three rules put in one plane at angle to each other, for instance, by legs of triangle. Array of F numbers is received for each rule by relationship given in description of invention. From points of location of maxima of these arrays perpendiculars to each rule are erected and position of source in image plane is obtained in points of crossing of three perpendiculars.
