FIELD: separation of titanium-containing reaction mass by heating and vacuum treatment. SUBSTANCE: vacuum treatment and heating are conducted down to residual pressure of 0.2-5.0 mm Hg with subsequent supply of argon to residual pressure of 50-400 mm Hg; and subsequent heating up to 850-900 C is carried out in the argon atmosphere. EFFECT: higher quality of sponge titanium.
