FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: increased precision of measurement of flow rate is achieved thanks to exclusion of components of error caused by components of residual signal of supply frequency of flow rate converter of zero and first degree. Flow rate is measured on three different ω1, ω2, ω3 supply frequencies of converter. Coefficients of ratios of frequencies n=ω2/ω1 m=ω3/ω2 with m > n > 1 are fixed. Computer is used to control supply frequency. Signal across output of analog-to-digital converter assumes values A1, A2, A3. Run of measurements with cyclic change of three frequencies makes it possible for computer to determine actual values of flow rate with the aid of program.
