FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of cathode-ray tube involves manufacture of electron-optical system, screen-mask unit, atomized and nonatomized gas absorbers, their assembly in tight shell and thermal treatment in vacuum. In process of assembly mass of active matter of nonatomized gas absorbers in chosen so that emission of hydrogen in region of cathode of manufactured cathode-ray tube reaches volume which keeps partial pressure of hydrogen within limits 10-2-10-3 Pa while forming emitting coat. In process of thermal treatment in vacuum nonatomized gas absorbers are degassed at temperature 450-650 C for the course of 120-910 C and formation of cathode is performed. Then gas absorber is cooled with rate 3.1-9.2 C/min. Pre-burning of cathode-ray tube is carried out at cathode voltage 8.1-9.1 V for the course of 310-1800 C with voltage at accelerating electrode equal to 210-350 V and temperature of nonatomized gas absorber 55-210 C.
