FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method wherein ground industrial product is leached with hydrochloric acid in presence of ferrous compounds, kept for a while under stirring followed by filtering off the pulp and isolation manganese concentrate from solution. In order to increase manganese isolation and reduce phosphorus content in concentrate to a value not higher than 0.015% when processing high-phosphorus ores, and also to reduce toxic emanation, leaching is carried out by way of feeding concentrated hydrochloric acid into aqueous suspension of industrial product with velocity 0.8-2 l/h per 1 kg of industrial product to pH 2.0-2.6, after which the pH of pulp is adjusted to 2.9-3.2. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
