FIELD: quantum electronics; high-power pulse-periodic lasers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has laser and unstable cavity. The latter is formed by totally reflecting mirror with central hole and semitransparent mirror. Master laser is installed behind totally reflecting mirror coaxially to the latter. Two pairs of photodetectors are arranged at mutually perpendicular diameters of totally reflecting mirror. Alignment components are mounted in gimbal suspension. Shielding system is made in the form of two revolving disks with shutters. Electronic control system has main-beam pulse repetition frequency setting unit. Output of this unit is coupled with input of photodetector shielding disk motor. Output of master-laser shielding-disk rotation frequency and phase transducer is coupled with second input of disk rotation frequency and phase regulator.
EFFECT: enhanced speed of response of high-power laser radiation shield for alignment laser and photodetectors.
