FIELD: automatic alignment of unstable-cavity lasers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has alignment laser installed behind totally reflecting mirror coaxially to central hole. Two pairs of photodetectors are disposed at mutually perpendicular diameters of totally reflecting mirror opposite coaxial holes of the latter. Alignment devices are disposed in gimbal suspension. Control-signal generating unit is electrically connected to photodetectors and to alignment laser. Electronic control system has main-beam pulse repetition frequency setting unit. Device shielding photodetectors and alignment laser from main radiation is disposed on rear side of totally reflecting mirror between holes and photodetectors as well as between the former and alignment laser. Device shielding photodetectors and alignment laser is made in the form of set of five mechanically isolated shutters. The latter are provided with electric actuators and set of position sensors.
EFFECT: simplified design of device.
