FIELD: quantum electronics; large unstable-cavity pulse-periodic lasers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed laser is formed by totally reflecting and semitransparent mirrors. Cavity alignment system has alignment laser. The latter is installed behind totally reflecting mirror coaxially to its central hole. Focusing mirror is optically coupled with laser and mounted along its beam. Misalignment sensor is installed in focusing mirror focus. Control signal generating unit is electrically connected to misalignment sensor. Alignment system is provided with alignment laser and focusing mirror shielding device.
EFFECT: enhanced stability of laser output power.
