FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement of ionising radiations, namely, gamma-radiation using gas discharge counters. The method to measure high levels of capacity of a gamma radiation dose consists in the fact that measurements are carried out with the help of a gas discharge counter supplied from a source of linearly changing high voltage, at the same time the pulses generated on the counter during the registration of the gamma quantum arrive to a recalculation circuit after amplitude discrimination, carried out by a double-level threshold circuit.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the method.
