UNIT OF PIEZOELEMENTS OF GEOPHYSICAL DOWNHOLE RADIATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2200333 C2

FIELD: technical electroacoustics. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in highpower geophysical radiators to recover production rate of wells and in acoustic logging. Technical result of invention lies in increase of mechanical and electrical strength of wiring of unit of piezoelements, of its functional reliability and adaptability to manufacture. Unit of piezoelements incorporates separate piezoceramic washers possessing own electrodes which wiring is implemented by means of mounting electrodes conforming to own electrodes of piezoceramic washers. Mounting electrodes of piezoceramic washer of one polarity come in the form of first and second complete metal strips. Sections of each strip conforming to own electrodes of piezoceramic washers alternate with sections o rectangular shape. One section of metal strip conforming to own electrode of piezoceramic washer is arranged between two own electrodes of piezoceramic washers of one polarity. Rectangular sections of each metal strip form arcs located on side surface of unit of piezoelements of geophysical downhole radiator. To diminish probability of electric break-down arcs formed by bridges of first and second mounting plates can be turned in plane of electrodes through 90 degrees one relative another. It is not recommended to fill spaces under arcs with compound displaying adhesion to surfaces of metal strips and piezoceramic washers to raise mechanical strength of radiator. EFFECT: raised mechanical and electric strength of wiring of unit of piezoelements. 2 cl, 2 dwg
