FIELD: non-destructive control methods.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method for non-destructive control of product strength, in given cross-section with minimal edge disturbance deformation is measured by means of string perimeter meter, which occurs on application of external effects to product. Effective longitudinal resilience module is determined, on basis of which strength limit is evaluated. Product is heated (cooled) in given range of temperatures with constant speed of change of temperatures on its surface. Current values of heat deformation of cover are measured by means of string of perimeter meter, thermo-stabilized by length, and strength limit is determined from equation where k - coefficient of strained condition and device shape; U0 - true destruction activation energy; ΔT - temperature change; T - absolute temperature, °K; εΔT - thermal deformation of cover in ΔT, °C.
EFFECT: simplified testing technology.
