FIELD: processing of polymeric material. SUBSTANCE: material is ground in water medium with material mass-to-water mass ratio of 0.2-1.0, and cutting unit rotation speed is within 20-50 m/s. Grinding is carried out in device whose grate and cutting unit are made in form of hole truncated cones arranged with clearance between them and opened on side of large bases with perforated side walls. Angle of wall inclination is 25-75 deg. Grate is installed for axial displacement, ground material circulates in vessel to achieve required particle size.
