FIELD: biotechnology, genetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: recombinant plasmid pCCS (size is 4920 nucleotide pairs) is constructed. Plasmid contains fragment of vector pBR325 (4860 nucleotide pairs) with β-lactamase gene and a segment of modified gene encoding chloroamphenicol transferase (CAT); synthetic gene of somatostatin-14 is linked at 3′-end of CAT-gene. This plasmid determines constitutive synthesis of fusion protein CAT-somatostatin-14 under control of own CAT-promoter - in E. coli cells MKD 3207 at lowered level of proteins degradation. EFFECT: construction of recombinant plasmid indicated above.
