FIELD: heat transfer. SUBSTANCE: furnace comprises upper row of successive heating sections and lower row of successive cooling sections. Glass sheets are placed on bending forms installed on carrier trucks. Trucks move over upper conveying guide from one heating section to another and, correspondingly, over lower conveying guide, from one cooling section to another. Heat is transferred from bent hot glass in cooling sections to nonbent colder glass in heating sections due to suction of air from cooling section and blowing it into heating section. Air is forced onto both sides of cold glass sheet disposed in heating section and then onto each side of hot glass sheet disposed in cooling section. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 4 dwg
