FIELD: powder metallurgy, tool manufacturing. SUBSTANCE: cutting blade made on base of caked hard alloy has covering made from titanium carbide or titanium nitride either titanium carbonitride layer adjacent to base plate and upper double-layer covering made from aluminum oxide so that layer adjacent to hard titanium content covering has epitaxy aluminum kappa-oxide or aluminum theta-oxide. Skin layer has not less then 90% of mass as aluminum alpha-oxide with aluminum grain dimension less then 1 microns, the rest are kappa or theta-oxide of aluminum. EFFECT: more effective cutting blade construction.
