METHOD OF PROGNOSTICATING CHRONIC CHOLECYSTITIS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes testing blood sample for group AB0, type Hp and H1A-antigens. If phenotype reveals markers classed among those typical of chronic cholecystitis (B(III), Hp 1-1, H1A A3, A28, A30, B5, B13, B35, and B40), novel method prescribes summing up their common prognostic coefficients. In case resultant sum is equal to figure 13 or exceeds it, there are grounds for prognosticating likely development of chronic cholecystitis. Further steps are disclosing presence of differential genetic markers of diverse forms of disease (0(1), Hp 1-1, H1A, B5, B7, B18, and B35) for reviewing clinical form of cholecystitis and summarizing their differential prognostic coefficients. If resultant sum is equal to 6 or above, it is natural to prognosticate likely hazard of development of noncalculous cholecystitis. With resultant sum being equal to 6 and below, risk of development of calculous cholecystitis is prognosticated. EFFECT: shorter prognostication time, greater simplicity and higher accuracy of prognostication of cholecistitis in patients of any age. 2 tbl
