FIELD: plastic metal working, namely, apparatuses for feeding coils and uncoiling them. SUBSTANCE: coil is taken out of car and it is placed onto lengthwise axle of uncoiler. Then electric motor is energized for rotating screw; nut is moved along thread through spring. Nut presses boss, spaces segments apart and clamp coil. Then electric motor is deenergized. Semicouplings are engaged, shaft is unlocked, motor is energized and coil is uncoiled. When mechanism for receiving band grips it semicouplings may be disengaged, motor may be deenergized and coil may be uncoiled by means of traction rollers. EFFECT: simplified design of apparatus, its enhanced reliability and increased useful life period. 2 cl, 3 dwg
