FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for continuous flat ingot casting has a drum with drives of rotation and forward motion, placed between side flanges theat have own drives of rotation; endless driven belt, that rounds butts surfaces of the flanges; driven rollers and rolls, that are supporting the belt and pressing it on radial section in transverse direction to the butts of the flanges; injectors, placed between the rolls. Rolls are set on radial section of the belt with different value of a step, that according to the rectilinear rule decreases along the length of radial section of the belt from maximum meaning equaled to from (0.25 - 0.5) r in its beginning to (0.05 - 0.2) r in the end of the radial section, with "r" - radius of the drum.
