FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hip joint endoprosthesis incorporates made of carbon threads, three-dimensional orthogonal reinforced frame of head, and neck frame having curved structure along center axis, which is compacted in plane perpendicular to this axis. Rod portion has curved threads in plane parallel to plane of symmetry. Frame is made of pyrocarbon material. Method of manufacturing endoprosthesis includes such steps as polymerization in mandrel, thermal treatment and saturation with pyrocarbon with heating frame first across and then along axis.
