FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: combustion products are by- passed to expanding cylinder 7 from working cylinder 2 when edge of working piston opens outlet port 6. Before by-passing air is sucked in expanding cylinder 7. Jet of combustion products is injected to fresh air, intensively mixed with them, burns out, and transmits an expanding work to additional piston 9. In by-passing a part of the combustion products is directed to outlet pipe line 14 wherein a catalytic neutralizer is mounted, then reflected from surface of a pulsator positioned at the outlet of pipe line 14, and flows back in expanding cylinder 7 and by-pass passage 15. As the result particles are removed from the surface of the catalyzer and gas pressure occurs that allows to deliver a part of fresh air, which appears in passage 15 at blowing, back to cylinder 2 through outlet port 6. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 7 cl, 1 dwg
