FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: long breakage face is divided into row of strips, whose width is equal to width of working member of mining unit. Strips are worked independently. Extraction is carried out by discrete-frontal faces. Mining device includes a group of mining units and transportation system, powered support lagging and leading units, additional advancing hydraulic jacks between transportation system and leading units of powered support, and transport telescopic units attached to leading and lagging powered support units.
