FIELD: microscopy. SUBSTANCE: device has a light source, condenser, non-transparent shield interposed between the light source and condenser and comprising a narrow rectangular slot an image of which behind an objective lens coincides with a sensitive elements, e.g. in the form of photodetector array. During scanning a specimen cut a microscope stage moves in confocal plane in the direction orthogonal to the slot. To improve quality of image a system of rectangular-cylindrical lenses oriented at the target can be used. EFFECT: improved image quality. 3 cl, 3 dwg
