FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wind wheel has shaft, radial traverses with stop secured to the shaft, and spring-loaded blades which are pivotally connected to the traverses through cantilevers and pylons interconnected through prestressed springs. In starting self starting rotation occurs under the action of aerodynamic forces owing to rotation of blades. At high wind speeds speed of rotation is limited by deflecting of blade from optimal angle under the action of centrifugal forces. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
