FIELD: solid-state gyroscopes. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of turning hemispherical resonator of quartz glass, applying metallic layer on its inner and outer surfaces, heating the resonator up to (150-200)C, cooling it in a temperature range from (-160)-(-200)C, again heating it up to (150-200)C. Losses in the resonators, caused by metallization, are being lowered at such manufacturing process by two times. EFFECT: lowered losses, caused by applying of a metallic layer onto surfaces of the hemispherical resonator of quartz glass. 1 cl
