FIELD: analytical immunology. SUBSTANCE: gold sol and solid-phase particles coated with antibody dispersed in aqueous system interact immunologically that can possibility to detect the presence of analyte in analyzed sample. As a result of immunological reaction solid-phase composite is prepared which contains gold. Composite is collected on filter or in the tube bottom by centrifugation or precipitation. Analyte in the sample is determined or detected by direct visual examination of collected solid-phase composite which is colored with pink, red or purple color depending on the gold content in it. Materials required for assay involves particle coated with gold, coated solid-phase particles and filter as a collecting member. Collected solid-phase composite containing metal can be subjected for the direct visual examination in order to determine or detect gold in its composition and such manner to assay analyte in the sample.
