FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has cylinder, working piston received in the cylinder to form above-piston and crankcase spaces, slide bushing interposed coaxially between walls of the cylinder and piston, and crank of bushing drive coupled with it through a unit for coupling bushing with the crank provided with ball pivot. The coupling unit is constructed as a ring piston received within a ring groove of the crankcase and secured to the slide bushing about it. When both pistons are in the bottom dead center, harmful volume of the crank space decreases at a maximum and compression and blowing ratios increase. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 4 dwg
