FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: pressurizing or blowing are changed owing to changing form of by-pass passages which connect the crankcase space with combustion chamber by making passages in a changeable insert mounted coaxially with respect to the cylinder. In the engine with a sleeve valve gear, the insert is secured to the slide valve bushing. A ball pivot coupled with the crank of the bushing drive is received in the insert. EFFECT: simplified method. 2 cl, 2 dwg
