FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: magnetoresistive displacement transducer has two-pole permanent magnet 1 manufactured in the form of rectangular frame or hollow cylinder in which geometrical center dielectric base is located with two pairs of magnetoresistive elements anchored on it. Elements are fabricated in the form of serpentines 4-7 with mutually perpendicular direction of magnetoresistive conductive tracks. These serpentines are tied together in resistive bridge which adjacent arms have mutually perpendicular direction of conductive tracks. Geometrical centers of serpentines are matched and their planes are parallel to each other and to magnetic lines of force of magnet. In this case conductive tracks parallel to magnetic lines of force can be spread and tracks perpendicular to magnetic lines of force can be compressed which enhances sensitivity of transducer when measuring linear translations of magnet. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of transducer. 2 cl, 2 dwg
