FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: expanded range and increased precision of adjustment are achieved by determination of direction and value of misalignment of mirrors by influence of modulated voltage amplitude and actuating elements positioned on mirrors of resonator till instantaneous generation is excited. Change of variable component of voltage of discharge maintaining is measured. Direction is determined by phase of variable component and value of misalignment is determined by amplitude, controlling signal is generated and is sent over feedback circuit to actuating elements till maximum specified value of radiation power is obtained.
