FIELD: organic chemistry; melts prepared by the claimed process are used for manufacturing carbon and organoplastic materials having high physical and mechanical properties. Adhesion, elasticity, transversal strength and reduced viscosity of the melt provide for better impregnating properties of the filler and thus improve the quality of plastic materials. SUBSTANCE: the process is carried out without preliminary recovery of a monomeric bis-maleinimide, for which purpose the original maleic anhydride is made to react with ethanol while stirring at ± for 5-8 hours, followed by addition of 4,4′- diaminodiphenyl methane and stirring at room temperature. The ratios of the reaction components are as follows (weight parts): maleic anhydride 9.8-49.0 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl 19.8-53.4 ethanol 4.6-23.0. EFFECT: improved process. 3 tbl
