SUBSTANCE: hand-held shearing machine is provided with two levers provided with working members, arranged symmetrically to the symmetry axis of the power cylinder, and pivotally connected with its housing. The rod of the drain cylinder is pivotally connected with free arms of the levers through links. The axles of the pivot connections of each of the links with the rod are shifted and arranged symmetrically to the axis of symmetry of the cylinder. The ratio of the distance between axles of the pivot connections of each of the links with the lever and the rod of the power cylinder to the distance between the axles of the pivot connections of the lever with the housing of the power cylinder and respective link is equal to 0.83-0.89. The ratio of the distance between the axis of symmetry of the power cylinder to the distance between the axle of the pivot connection of each of the levers with respective link and axle of the pivot connection of the levers with the housing of the power cylinder is equal to 0.17-0.19.
