FIELD: processing of harmful waste. SUBSTANCE: when waste is fed to rotary furnace, large solid waste at least partially burns with formation of primary aggregate. Gaseous combustion by-products obtained from waste and small particles are fed at least to one oxidizing apparatus, which operates at a temperature ranging from 962 to 1374 C. In these conditions some particles melt and form a slag-like material, from which harmless aggregate is obtained at cooling. That part of material which failed to melt in the oxidizing apparatus is cooled, neutralized and subjected to separation. Obtained solid particles are fed again to the oxidizing apparatus together with primary aggregate, where they melt or submerge into melted material and become an integral part of harmless aggregate. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 51 cl, 3 dwg
