FIELD: production of crystals. SUBSTANCE: single crystals are grown by vertical pulling technique. Seeding is effected in inert atmosphere, then, hydrogen is introduced into atmosphere, and pulling is continued. Concentration of trivalent titanium in chrysoberyl is increased up to 1.5 at. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
