FIELD: devices used in electrochemical treatment of water. SUBSTANCE: water to be treated is fed from pump source 1 into anode chamber 4 of high pressure module-type continuous electrochemical reactor with porous ultra-violet ceramic diaphragm 3. Active chlorine forms in the anode chamber to destroy all microorganisms and oxidize organic admixtures. After passing through the anode chamber, water flows through container 6 with catalyst on which active chlorine disintegrates. Then water travels to cathode chamber 5 of electrochemical reactor, and recuperation of organic admixtures occurs. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
