FIELD: chemical technology, fluorinated hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: synthesis is carried out by reaction of hexafluoropropylene with cobalt trifluoride at 75-450 C in two-zone vertical tube reactor with jacket and heat-exchanger in the form of cylindrical capacity with jacket. Internal walls of the latter form central cavity which is the second reaction zone. The first zone is annular cavity formed by reactor corpus walls and cylindrical capacity. In the second reaction zone ratio of cobalt difluoride and cobalt trifluoride is maintained as 1: (1-1.5). Hexafluoropropylene is fed into annular cavity at the linear rate 2.45-2.5 m/s.
