FIELD: manufacture of polyfluorinated ethanes. SUBSTANCE: reaction conditions: reagent 1 is ethylene and reagent 2 is cobalt trifluoride. Synthesis conditions: cobalt trifluoride is first used in admixture with molybdenum trifluoride in a 1:0.6-4 ratio at 120-220 C. The contact time is 600-1500 s. The resulting mixture is then reacted with cobalt trifluoride at 50-270 C. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. 4 cl, 1 tbl
